We are part of a growing movement of
university workers who are unionizing
for better pay and working conditions,
protections from mistreatment, and a
more just and democratic academy.
Signing a union card is an important and meaningful way to demonstrate your support for a union. If a majority of graduate workers sign union cards, the University can decide to recognize Local 33 and begin negotiating a contract! If Yale decides not to recognize majority support for a union on their own, we can use the union cards to petition the National Labor Relations Board to hold an election.
If you are ready to sign a card, you may use this form to do so! If you are on campus, we encourage you to visit one of our many card-signing locations across campus or meet up with a committee member to sign a physical card. Reach out to 33@yaleunions.org to get connected.
